Groundsman who allegedly assaulted teacher returns to court
THE groundsman who allegedly knocked a teacher unconscious at the St Mary basic school where they both worked is to return to court today.
Thirty-seven-year-old Clinton Irons is facing charges of unlawful wounding after he used a brick to knock Jacqueline Samuels unconscious during an argument in December.
Reports are that Samuels reportedly made Irons’ son clean the floor he urinated on multiple times which caused the confrontation between the two.
Samuels was rushed to the St Ann’s Bay Hospital and was later airlifted to the Kingston Public Hospital.
