Rita Ora wears Pyrex Vision street wear brand

Rita Ora wears Pyrex Vision street wear brand

People Post

Jay-Z signed her and Kanye West worked on her debut album, but it looks as though more than their musical style has rubbed off on Rita Ora.

The singer stepped out in a pair of Pyrex Vision basketball shorts, from the street wear brand favoured by her hip-hop mentors.

Paired with a grey T-shirt and retro trainers, it was a laid-back look for Rita on a smoothie run, Sunday afternoon.

Pyrex Vision emerged from the creative talent Virgil Abloh, who spent years behind the scenes with Kanye West, building the rapper’s brand aesthetic.

With his ‘#been #trill crew’ clothing range selling from as much as $400, he has since become a sell-out and niche influence on street wear across the globe.

Most recently, Jay-Z wore his ‘The Entombment of Christ’ graphic Religion hoody most recently at Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def 20th Anniversary Concert with Kanye, A$AP Rocky and Chris Brown previously seen out in the $275 jumper.

Rita has arrived in Perth, having landed at the city’s airport on Saturday ahead of the Future Music Festival.

The Stone Roses, Bloc Party, Azealia Banks, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, and The Temper Trap are just a few of the other top names playing the Australian music event.

In-between gigs, her Radioactive tour and recording her new album, the 22-year-old found time to make an appearance in a blockbuster movie.

Rita makes a cameo in the sixth instalment from the Fast And Furious franchise.

And ever since she returned from the high-octane set, the singer says she’s become a bit of a motor-head.

“I never really liked cars until I saw The Fast And Furious but now I love them.” The Sun reports.

“It’s exciting because it’s the first movie I’ve ever really been involved in so I’m excited that it’s a big one.”

This isn’t her first foray in front of the camera though, as she recently made a guest appearance in 90210 as herself.

Kendall Jenner does high fashion

She is apart of one of the most photographed families in the world.

And the camera clearly loves Kendall Jenner as she proved once again while taking part in a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar in Los Angeles.

Showing she’s well and truly stepped out of her Kardashian sister’s shadow, the 17-year-old looked every inch a high fashion model in the stunning black gown.

Pictured making her way on set the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star stepped out in the full-length high-neck dress.

Her long brunette hair had a slightly wild feel to it as it fell down her back, while she experimented with a darker look featuring lashings of black eyeliner.

As she turned around the gorgeous design of the dress could be fully seen — showing off most of her back the dress had a low scoop with ruffled detail.

Her head-turning look was completed with a silver choker necklace and a matching cuff bracelet while she wore a pair of black open-toe platform heels.

It seems the dramatic dress wasn’t her only look for the day, as she shared another snap from the shoot.

In the picture she is seen wearing a pair of tight fitting trousers with detailing down the legs while sitting on a step.

Accompanying the snap she wrote: “at an amazing photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar… shooting the COVER and an inside spread! so so excited!…”

Speaking after the shoot in a video she made, she said: “It went amazing, it’s really hot, and all these men behind me are wolf-whistling at me and it’s really making me uncomfortable.”

While Kendall is known for being rather shy she revealed on her blog, which she writes with her younger sister Kylie, where she gets her fashion inspiration from. he wrote: “Fashion Week for Fall 2013 is still going on, and one model is definitely standing out: Cara Delevingne. Kylie and I both love her personal style, and I’m inspired by her runway confidence.”

The shoot comes after claims that her mother Kris is ‘sexualising’ her and sister Kylie.

The ‘momager’ has been accused of ‘forcing them to be the breakout stars’ since receiving backlash from her eldest daughters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe.

Jenner called the claim ‘ridiculous’ in an interview with Us Weekly, but a source who allegedly used to work with the family told InTouch, “Kris is trying to mould Kendall and Kylie into the next megabrand — the next Kim Kardashian. Kris isn’t acting like their mom.”
