Celebrity Pool Splash on today

THE Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) ramps up its fund-raising activities with the hosting of the Celebrity Pool Splash at the National Stadium Pool this morning.

The event is slated for 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Entry to the venue is set at $500 per person and tickets can be bought at the stadium pool office.

Those set to participate in the day of party and entertainment include outstanding national swimmer Alia Atkinson and dancehall artiste Beenie Man, as well as Jamaica’s top sprinters Michael Frater, Warren Weir, Nesta Carter and iconic Olympian Grace Jackson.

Senior Reggae Boyz head coach Theodore Whitmore and Boys’ Town Premier League football tactician Andrew Price are also scheduled to compete.

The organisers announced that fans will have a chance to win an iPad or ticket for family of four to Dolphin Cove.
