THE ART OF DESSERT

The Hyacinth McDonald-organised event, Decadent Art, held on Saturday, March 2, featured an exhibition of fine art and desserts. The parking lot at 8 Hillcrest Avenue was transformed into a haven of fine art, lining the perimeter of the establishment like painted walls in a chapel, juxtaposed with devilishly good desserts. The hand-picked pastry chefs included Guilt Trip’s culinary genius Colin Hylton, Michelle Smith from Chocolate Dreams, Nicole Shirley from Nicole’s Sweet Temptations, Theo Smith from Great House Caterers, Tea Tree Crêperie, Celeste Gordon from Whip It Up, Christina Scott from Kuke, and Tammy Hoyow from Tami Cake. We share with you some of the sweet treats.
