Chelsea Clinton’s new $10million pad is New York’s longest apartment — stretching an entire block from 26th Street to 27th Street off Madison Avenue. Described as “a luxury fortress” with one full-time doorman to the horizontal building’s four units, it takes almost 30 seconds to walk the 250-foot hallway, according to New York Daily News. The former First Daughter, 33, bought the four-bedroom, 5,000-square-foot apartment with her husband Marc Mezvinsky, 35, after putting their nearby $4million pad on the market earlier this year. The apartment is located in The Whitman building next to Madison Square Park, one of the most desirable corners of Manhattan’s Flatiron District.

With her hair slicked back and some simple white studs, the Empire State of Mind singer looked years younger as she went make-up free for her dip in the ocean. After taking a dip she made sure to spend some time with her adorable son, who looked incredibly happy to be on the sands with his superstar mother.

The Duchess of Cambridge today visited an inspirational sink-estate school which suffered devastation after it was attacked by arsonists just hours after news of her trip was announced. The Willows Primary School on Manchester’s deprived Wythenshawe estate — which is used as a backdrop for the Channel 4 comedy drama Shameless — has been held up as a beacon of hope and is now rated by Ofsted as Outstanding. But on April 11 the school’s new £40,000 playground was torched by vandals, razing an enormous climbing frame known as “The Fort” to the ground.
