Stunt war for Ochi on Sunday
STUNT fever spreads to the Ocho Rios Bus Park, St Ann, on Mother’s Day as bikers and drifters are set to face-off in Stunt War — the Unleashed Fury on Sunday.
According to event organiser Halquin ‘Pugu’ Rodney, the competition promises thrilling two- and four-wheeled duels between individual bikers and crews.
“It’s gonna be a wicked face-off among all top riders in Jamaica with a little drifting in the mix. We’re going to have judges to determine who will be the winner based on technique and style in categories like Best Freestyle, Best Endo, Best Tandem (two persons on a bike), Sickest Trick, and Best Burnout. The last man standing will be crowned king and will get a trophy,” Rodney told Auto.
Tag-team drifting and a drifter’s face-off are also on the day’s list of activities as well as a stunting exhibition by dancehall artistes Aidonia and Sizzla.
Among the crews with riders set to challenge current Stunt War Champion Damion ‘Dunga’ Hughes’ title are Kingston’s Crazy Bikerz, Westmoreland’s West Best Riderz and Montego Bay’s Rush Riders. Among the drivers set to face off are 14-year-olds Chris-John Addison and Nicholas Barnes, along with Jamar ‘Sckoolaz’ Kinkead and Cleve ‘Cutta Hype’ Ottey. Rallysport Champion Matthew Gore will also be making an appearance.
The event will be hosted by Pretty Boy Floyd with music by DJs Johnny Cool and Timeless. Admission is $1,000, while the first 100 mothers will enter free.
