Wednesday, May 22

Styleweek Edition

Fiction nightclub’s weekly BNM is the venue for Styleweek Edition, first event of Styleweek 2013.

Special guest is American actor Brando Eaton of the Showtime series Dexter.

The collections of Kaydian Nicely, Balla Sean and swimsuits by Nish will be on show. Showtime 11:00 pm.

Guinness Black the Streets

This event is at Dump Up Beach in Montego Bay. Jamming with patrons will be Sizzla, Stone Love, Flava Unit and homeboy DJ Kentucky. Party time is 8:00 pm.

MAD — Music Alcohol Dance

Takes place at 76 Constant Spring Road, starting 9:00 pm.

Pepsi Chill Spot

At Ocho Rios Jerk Centre. Live performance from Christopher Martin; starts 9:00 pm.

FRIDAY — SUNDAY

Bleu 2013 Weekend

The ‘Bleu’ series takes place at Grand Palladium in Hanover. Fun begins on Friday at 10:00 pm with Baby Bleu Sleepwear Club Party. On Saturday, it’s Sky Bleu Beach Party and Raving Club Party. The curtain comes down Sunday with two parties — the Caribbean’s Ultimate Pool and Navy Bleu Survivor Club Night.

Supermodel City Lock Down

Three Corporate Area hot spots will host 45-minute fashion shows this Saturday as part of Styleweek 2013. These are South Beach Café at 9:30 pm, Mahogany Tree Bar at Devon House at 11:00 pm and Fiction nightclub at 1:00 am.

SATURDAY

Heineken UEFA Championship League Final viewing party

Check out the big match with Bayern vs Dortmund at the National Indoor Sports Centre. Kickoff is 12:00 pm.

A Yah So Nice Birthday Bash

Takes place at Crystal Clear HQ, 20 Campden Crescent, in Marverly. Music by Lizard Hype Movements, Paper Ruch and DJ Blacks. Starts at 9:00 pm.

Citystyle on the Waterfront

UDC Carpark in downtown Kingston will be transformed into an all-white affair as part of Styleweek 2013.

This internation Mecca of Style will feature designers from New York, Paris and Jamaica. Cezar Galindo, who has designed for Madonna and Gwen Stefani) will be in attendance.

Gates open 9:00 p.m. Showtime 10:00 p.m. Tickets: Reg: $3,000, VIP $4,500 (priority seating).

SUNDAY

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) celebrates Child’s Month by hosting the grand finals of the Grace Tropical Rhythms Jamaica Children’s Gospel Song Competition, under the theme ‘Children of the Rock’. Takes place at the Ranny Williams Entertainment Centre starting at 6:30 pm.

FASHIONBLOCK

New Kingston will serve as the location for Fashionblock.

The city’s financial district will be transformed into fashion central with large runway.
