Digicel inks SPF Weekend partnership deal

DIGICEL has signed on as the exclusive telecom partner for the Independence holiday premium party series, SPF (Summer Playground Fantasy).

The series, scheduled for August 2 to 5 in St Ann, has Appleton Estate as title sponsor. Lucozade is also onboard.

The telecom giant’s confirmation took place at the company’s downtown Kingston headquarters recently.

“With over 2 million customers across Jamaica, we are always looking for ways to stay connected with all our customers. This is why we are so excited about our partnership with SPF as it definitely gives us the opportunity to strengthen our connection with the lifestyle segment of our market. From all indications, the party series is going to be great and we’re looking forward to being in Ocho Rios come Independence weekend,” says Tahnida Nunez, sponsorship manager at Digicel Jamaica.

At least four parties are to be held. These are SPF: Cat Cruise, BNM: Eye Candy, Fiction: Beach, and Soiree: SPF-04.
