Captions for Father’s Day Observer Feature – Digicel Jamaica
Caption # 1: Finance Manager Gregory Wildman is the proud father of an eight-year-old son, Matthew, and a 15-year-old daughter, Tinaya.
“For my daughter, I want her to enjoy life to the fullest and appreciate what it means to work hard to achieve her dreams of becoming successful in the visual arts. It’s also important to me that she never forgets the core values she learnt at home. For my son Matthew, I want him to know that his mom and I will support him fully in his dream of becoming a professional footballer (and play for Barcelona). I want him to know that no dream is too big for him to make a reality.”
Caption # 2: Commercial Director Jason Corrigan is the father of two children – six-year-old Abigail and three- year-old Cormac. Jason’s response to what he wants for his children: “I want Abigail to grow up believing in herself, to know that she is fine just as nature made her, to know that she should make no apology for being smart and self-reliant. I want her to reach for the moon but achieve the stars in whatever she decides to do.” In the meantime, for Cormac, Jason said he wants his son to develop a love for learning and an infectious zeal for life. “I want him to grow up feeling confident and secure in who he is and that he will be successful in whatever he decides to do in his future.”
Caption # 3: Retail Manager Jeremy Owen is a huge sports enthusiast who enjoys playing football with his three-year-old son Jared. He wants his son to “give the best effort he can possibly give in all of his endeavours, those near as well as in the distant future – whether it is in his studies at school, sports, extracurricular activities, his chosen profession or his personal life. Importantly, I want him to have fun while growing up.”
Caption # 4: Mark Green is head of business services for Digicel Business. He describes himself as the proud father of two-year-old daughter Syim and five-year-old son Maxwell. “For my daughter Syim, I want her to grow up to be a woman of class and integrity like her mother – and for my son, I want him to have enough struggles to make him strong and appreciate all he has. I want him to be considerate of others and always push himself to excel at everything he does.”
Caption # 5: Kallol Bose is a business analyst in the Information Technology department. He enjoys spending time with his daughter Modhushree, who turned four this month. When asked what he wanted for his daughter, Kallol said he wants “God to bless her with lots of happiness and success in life.”
Caption # 6: Seamus Loughlin is head of ICT Service Delivery, Digicel Business Solutions. For his 11-year-old daughter Alex, Seamus wants a childhood filled with laughter and fond memories and a future filled with hope and freedom of choice.
