Konshens raises the bar
nternationally acclaimed reggae/dancehall artiste Konshens, continues to raise the bar on his education initiative.
Konshens, who is a staunch advocate for education and higher learning, has teamed up with a programme called, CIP (Career Imagination Programme) and is spearheading a book drive to help support and provide students at Kololo Senior Secondary School in Uganda with the tools they need to further their education.
CIP helps to bridge the gap between education and the employment structure, in Africa. This organisation provides mentoring programmes and teaches young people new skills such as making jewellery, furniture, photography and much more. After completing this programme students have a better chance at earning a living after graduating.
Konshens continues to grow as an artiste and humanitarian, as he takes the initiative to give back to society, both locally and internationalIy, it is quite clear that he intends to leave an indelible mark on the face and direction of what it means to be a true artiste.
He is currently wrapping up the final leg of his eight-week North American tour before heading to the lush island of St Kitts for their annual Music Festival where he will share the stage with major acts including Shaggy, Lionel Richie and Beres Hammond among others.
