Martina wins Lausanne 200m, Jason Young second
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Jason Young was beaten into second place by Dutchman Churandy Martina (20.01) in the Lausanne 200 metres Thursday.
In a race minus the big guns Young seemed to have had it won some forty metres out but was overtaken by a fast finishing Martina in a season’s best clocking.
Young clocked 20.20, also a season’s best, with Norway’s Jaysuma Saidy Ndure third in 20.40
Jamaica’s Mario Forsythe finished sixth in 20.75 seconds.
