Brandy performs for the chairs

Singer walks off stage after facing near-empty stadium in South Africa

She was supposed to be the surprise grand finale.

But Brandy found herself performing to a near-empty stadium after concert-goers left ahead of her spot at a concert in South Africa.

The annoyed singer walked offstage after two songs at the FNB stadium in Soweto last Saturday for Mandela Sports And Culture Day.

The stadium holds up to 90,000 people and had been packed throughout the day in celebration of the life of former president Mandela.

But with the packed schedule almost finished, it emptied out before Brandy made her big entrance.

While Brandy is popular in the country, her surprise performance was not revealed to the fans – who left thinking the day was over.

According to the Guardian newspaper there were no more than 40 people present.

‘Brandy performed to an empty stadium. With the stadium lights on,’ tweeted South African musician, Kabomo.

She’s crossed the borderline!

Madonna, 55, shows off her gold grills as she pays a visit to the Hard Candy fitness studio in Rome

Madonna just couldn’t wipe the smile off her face last week, and little wonder – the pop legend was keen to give fans and photographers a closer look at her distinctive grills.

While the unusual fashion accessory is a common feature in the mouths of younger stars like Justin Bieber and Rihanna, Madonna – who celebrated her 55th birthday last week – clearly puts no limit on what she can get away with.

Indeed, the Borderline singer cheerfully showed off her glittering grills when she paid a visit to the Rome branch of her Hard Candy fitness studio chain last Wednesday.

Wearing a black mini-dress, black tights and those fingerless leather gloves she’s so fond of sporting, Madonna called in to the Colosseo gym for what amounted to a quick inspection, but all eyes were inspecting her mouth as she made her way across the threshold.

The singer and actress let her hair down in France recently at the Menton music festival before celebrating son Rocco’s 13th birthday with a game of paintball that included young boyfriend Brahmin Zaibat and her teenage daughter, Lourdes.

Her own birthday fell on August 16, and Madonna celebrated by throwing a raunchy fancy dress party themed around the French Revolution.

Amber Rose teases fans with details of her white wedding…

as husband Wiz Khalifa is pictured up to his usual antics

It was always going to be quite the production when unconventional couple Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa tied the knot.

And judging from the images that are slowly being trickled out through social media, we’re not disappointed.

Exchanging vows in front of their loved ones in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 18, was just the beginning, as the festivities continued well into the next morning.

Teasing fans with a photo of herself in a simple white dress, wrapped in a large fur stole, the model tweeted the deceptive image as she continues to make us wait for the official first glimpse of her wedding gown.

‘This wasn’t my wedding day but a beautiful day nonetheless,’ she wrote on August 20.

She also retweeted a post from fan Raul Menendez, which featured a hilarious photo of a white shuttlecock.

‘@DaRealAmberRose you look very beautiful in a wedding dress,’ was the lighthearted caption that accompanied the image, to which Rose responded, ‘lmao this is awesome’.

While typically the groom’s attire isn’t as highly anticipated as his bride’s, when it comes to stylish rapper Wiz – real name Cameron Jibril Thomaz – fans were just as eager to see what he chose to wear on his big day.

Fortunately, rapper Juicy J, who is signed to Wiz’s Taylor Gang Records, offered the first look in an Instagram photo captioned, ‘Ready for the wedding’.

The 25-year-old looked dapper in a plum-coloured tuxedo jacket, which he wore with black dress pants, a crisp white shirt and black bow tie.

With a single white calla lily attached to his lapel and diamond studs in his ears, the heavily tattooed star kept his hair in signature short dreads.

Whether he needed to calm his nerves or was simply sticking to routine, the Work Hard, Play Hard singer was pictured smoking a marijuana joint alongside Juicy and an unidentified groomsman, both of whom were clad in smart black suits.
