Former US President Bill Clinton in Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Former United States President Bill Clinton is currently in Jamaica.

Observer Online understands that Clinton flew over the island on Thursday to assess damage caused by Category Five Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall on the island on October 28, causing significant damage to western parishes.

Minister of Water, Environment and Climate Change Matthew Samuda, in a captioned post on Instagram Thursday evening, said: “Very good to see former president Bill Clinton, as we discussed the route to recovery from Hurricane Melissa.”

Samuda was seen in a photo sharing a handshake with Clinton.
