ST ANN, Jamaica —It is a new school year and many students are happy to be back in the classroom, but one father now has to be seeking counselling for his nine-year-old daughter after her mother was murdered over the weekend in Ocho Rios, St Ann.
Elaine Simpson, 52-year-old from Parry Town, St Ann was reportedly stabbed repeatedly by unknown assailants on Friday night, August 30 at about 10:00 pm in the resort town.
Her body was reportedly discovered between two buildings on Rennie Road close to DaCosta Drive.

They said they do not know why anyone would have wanted Simpson dead; however, speculations are that she may have been murdered in relation to a recent court case.
