English Premier League: Spurs beat Aston Villa 2-0

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tottenham won 2-0 over Aston Villa in their English Premier League encounter on Sunday. Fixtures for Saturday October 26

Andros Townsend opened the score in the 31st minute and Roberto Soldado wrapped up the three points with a clinical finish in the 69th minute after a string of passes.

The win takes the Spurs to fifth place in the Premier League table.

Arsenal leads from Chelsea with Liverpool third and Manchester City fourth.
