Bungling leaders
Dear Editor,
The minister with responsibility for sports, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) have effectively done their best to try and ruin Jamaica’s athletic reputation internationally.
While we are known for bungling projects and finances, the aforementioned parties have done their best to try and undermine what our athletes have done.
Is it a requirement of Jamaica’s leaders to be inept in order to become leaders of the country or organisations?
I frankly have had enough of them all, especially JADCO’s handling of the accusations levelled by Anne Shirley and ultimately the World Anti-Doping Agency’s decision to audit us.
Our athletes have done their best to inspire the nation and ultimately the world. But it seems our leaders are trying their best to destroy us in every facet of life.
