St George’s swamp Calabar 8-1 to stay on top in Group D

ST George’s College swamped Calabar 8-1 and Camperdown beat Spanish Town High 3-0 as the 2013 ISSA/LIME Manning Cup continued with a double-header programme at the Spanish Town Oval yesterday.

In the opening game, St George’s were spurred by double strikes from Shevon Stewart, Ryan Miller Boothe and Cardell Benbow.

The win moved St George’s to 26 points to remain top of Group D, while in the feature game Camperdown outplayed Spanish Town High to stay in touch of the leaders on 23 points with a double strike from Rohan Scott (14th, 70th). Tevin Shaw netted the other goal in the 18th minute.
