Not a peep ’bout the JEEP
Dear Editor,
Who stole the JEEP? Was it leased, bought or repossessed? Could Portia not make the payments? Did it crash and nobody bothered to tell us?
I have almost totally forgotten about the JEEP or is it that we have become a handcart state now? Where is the Prime Minister? Did she take the JEEP for a ride and forgot to return it?
The last time I checked, Peter Phillips was fixing the engine and Omar Davis was putting on the tyres. What happened, has the JEEP become a collectors’ item? Will Jamaicas ever get to see the JEEP drive by on any avenue? This is absurd.
Since the JEEP seems to be a big issue, why not stick to the handcart business. The benefits of JEEP were promised. Jamaica is built on promises. But my grandmother always say that “a promise is a comfort to a fool”.
