RIO BUENO, Trelawny — The final three teams for the quarter-finals of the Trelawny Football Association Patrick Atkinson Knockout will be decided today following the playing of three games that will complete the first round.

Clarks Town will host Wakefield All-Star Sports Club at Cedric Titus High School field, Salt Marsh and Harmony will meet at Davis Pen, while Bunkers Hill So Fresh and Prospect Links will meet at Wakefield.

All games are set to start at 3:00 pm.

On Thursday, Spicy Hill SC and Invaders SC both booked their places in the last eight, a day after Rio Bueno upset Western Confederation Super League team Duanvale.

Damin Williams scored a hat-trick for Spicy Hill in their 4-1 win over Classic United that saw all five goals coming in an explosive second half.

After a goal-less first half, Terry Haughton gave Spicy Hill the lead three minutes into the second-half before Williams doubled the lead in the 56th minute.

Marvin Reynolds pulled one back for Classic in the 62nd minute before Williams put the game out of reach with two goals, in the 80th and 83rd minutes.

Invaders, who were given a first-round walkover win over Fire FC from their unplayed game, edged Coopers Pen 1-0 on Thursday with John Williams’ 18th minute goal being the decider.

On Wednesday, Rio Bueno continued their good run, beating Duanvale FC 1-0 at Rio Bueno to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Michael Bethune scored in the 68th minute for Rio Bueno who were winning their second game after outscoring Kinloss FC 4-2 in their ‘play-off round’ meeting last week.

Defending champions Holland United and Flames are also into the quarter-finals with wins over Baca Stars and Village United, respectively.
