MBCCI to stage public forum
MONTEGO BAY, St James — The Montego Bay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MBCCI) has scheduled a Pre-Christmas Public Forum for next Wednesday, at the Montego Bay Civic Centre, starting at 5:00 pm.
According to a release from the chamber, the forum is aimed at providing critical information on security and electricity, “especially for the upcoming festive season, where there is a great demand and going forward into 2014.”
Presentations will be made by Kelly Tomblin, President and CEO of Jamaica Public Service and Senior Superintendent Egbert Parkins, the commanding officer for St James, the release said.
It added that Everton Stewart of the Ministry of National Security will also give an update on the Montego Bay CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) Surveillance System.
