Elderly woman one of two killed in St Ann
ST ANN, Jamaica – An elderly woman is one of two people killed in St Ann in separate incidents between Friday, December 27, and Saturday, December 28.
She is 64-year-old Eulalee McIntosh.
Her body was discovered face down with a large wound to the neck near the Shaw Park Bridge in Ocho Rios on Friday, the police report.
Head of the Ocho Rios CIB Detective Sergeant Kirk Nicholls said the police received a call and went to the scene after 1:00 pm where McIntosh’s body was seen near the bridge which leads to the Parry Town community.
McIntosh lived in the Parry Town informal settlement.
No one has been arrested, however, according to Nicholls, the police are still carrying out intense investigations.
The second murder in the parish reportedly happened about 2:00 am on Saturday at a night club in Runaway Bay.
Reports are that 30-year-old Norman Comerie of Barnstaple, Trelawny, was stabbed to death by another patron at the club following an altercation between the two.
The man has since been taken into custody, but has not yet been charged.
