NWA spray patching roads in Corporate Area, St Catherine
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Phase three of the National Works Agency (NWA) islandwide spray patching programme is now under way along 33 major corridors in Kingston, St Andrew and St Catherine.
The project, which should be completed in six weeks, is expected to cost $20.96 million and is being funded through the Road Maintenance Fund.
Among the roadways to be patched in Kingston are August Town Road, East Avenue, Carter Avenue, Weymouth Drive, Clifton Boulevard, White Hall Avenue, Manning’s Hill Road, Arnold Road, Pembroke Hall Drive, and Westlake Avenue, the NWA said in a release Tuesday.
Cooperage to Guava Ridge, Stony Hill to Parks Road, and Old Stony Hill Road/Constant Spring Road to Stony Hill are the three St Andrew corridors that are slated for patching.
Meanwhile the six corridors in St Catherine along which spray patching will be carried out are Spanish Town to Port Henderson Road, Spanish Town to Naggo Head, Naggo Head to Dawkin’s Pen, Spanish Town to Sligoville, Ewarton to Mount Diablo, and Spanish Town to Bamboo.
