Are you ready?

Sigma Run 2014

PARTICIPANTS at the official warm-up event for Sigma Run 2014, ATL Shape-Up, at Hope Gardens in St Andrew, last Saturday, were in preparation mode for the calendar charity event that is set for Sunday, February 16.

Led by double Olympic silver medallist and Fitness Consultant Juliet Cuthbert, participants, both young and old, kept pace as Cuthbert walked them through several routines, working all their muscles.

There were a few complaints about having to hit the ground and grass for some of the routines, but all in all, participants were on their toes and when wound too tightly, Cuthbert allowed them to have a few breaks in between the 90-minute workout.

First-time runners and walkers, as well as regulars, used the warm-up to kick their exercise regime into high gear ahead of the 16th staging of Sagicor’s Sigma Corporate Run, which has contributed more than $120 million to institutions in dire need of help to continue providing Jamaicans with critical health services over the years.

Two new models in one week — how to test them on your own work before you switch
Anthropic shipped Claude Fable 5.1 on 1 September and OpenAI followed with GPT-6 Astra two days later. Both are described by their makers as the most capable models they have built. Neither claim tells you whether your month-end gets better. Here is a two-hour test that does, and a note on what each launch actually gives a business paying US$20 a month, which is less than the headlines suggest.
