KINGSTON, Jamaica — Kingston has become quite the party spot on Saturday nights. It got even hotter since October with the launch of Envy, a weekly series at Club Privilege in New Kingston.

Envy is promoted by Envy Movement, a group of popular show promoters including Andrew Ellis of Coco Loco and 5IV3; Adrian Wilson (Smudge, Bad Pickney Pool Party); O’Neil Forbes (Hennessy V); and Tigana Mitchell (Epic House Party).

Ellis spoke to OBSERVER ONLINE about the importance of giving fans something new every week.

“We try to keep the series fresh and vibrant with the use of different themes each week. Next Saturday, we will stage our Pajama party,” he said.

The Ladies Zone, an area where mixed drinks flow, is one of Envy’s popular attractions.

“We encourage the ladies to come out in their numbers as they will be treated to a designated Ladies Zone which will be the primary highlight of the series. The ladies zone is the home of Envy’s premium cocktails such as daquiris, mojitos & martinis. Cocktails are served in garnished glassware,” Ellis shared.
