Man flees vehicle on Mandela Highway leaving ganja behind
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Police are now carrying out a search along Mandela Highway in the vicinity the Ferry Police Station of where a large quantity of marijuana was confiscated.
Police said the illegal substance was discovered after a man, in a bid to escape from the police, abandoned the vehicle he was driving which contained the weed.
“A search of the vehicle was carried out and the substance found,” a policeman at the scene said.
Police are still trying to determine the identity of the driver.
