Water waste in Acadia

St Andrew, Jamaica — Residents of Acadia Drive in upper St Andrew are making a desperate call for National Water Commission (NWC) to address a major water problem in the community.

The residents say that a large water main has broken in the area and is now spilling millions of gallons of water.

“Since midnight water is being wasted at the location and we have made several calls and have yet to see anyone respond,” an angry resident told OBSERVER ONLIINE Thursday.
