ALTHOUGH he began recording less than three years ago, singer Prince Levy has been on the music circuit since age eight. While at St George’s College, he participated in several festival competitions organised by the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission.

The 27-year-old artiste’s latest crack at mainstream attention is the song Take it Slow, co-produced by Jay Edge/Prince Levy Music.

“I am pleased with the progress of this song and the work that we put into it. The whole idea behind the song is that persons should remain humble in spirit throughout the journey of life,” he noted.

Prince Levy made his recording debut in 2011 with the song Completely which was co-produced by Mfon and Jay Edge.

From Roaring River district in Westmoreland, he attended the Westmoreland Community Music School, before moving to Kingston where he attended St George’s College.

He later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Language, Communication and Society at the University of the West Indies.

Prince Levy plans to boost his promotion of Take it Slow by releasing a video.
