Anchovy High School Tourism Action Club receives on-the-job mentoring
Sandals Resorts in the Montego Bay region continues to expose high school students to hotel operation by bringing to life the dynamics of the hospitality sector. This includes extending “on-the-job” experiences in areas of interest such as food and beverage, guest service operation, landscaping, bar management, housekeeping, sales and marketing and much more.
The three luxury included resorts located in Montego Bay (Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean and Sandals Carlyle) will this year incorporate in their tourism in schools activity — an “Inspire and Mentor” career programme where managers will be encouraged to invite students from the alma mater to visit their respective resort for a day of mentoring.
