Teenager arrested for possession of ammo

WESTMORELAND, Jamaica — A teenager is now in police custody facing possible firearm charges following his arrest in Whitehouse, Westmoreland on Monday, February 17.

The Whitehouse Police report that the teen, a male, was arrested in connection with the seizure of twelve shotgun cartridges, which were found during a search of premises in the community about 12:20 pm.

The identity of the teenager is being withheld at this time.
