Immaculate, Ardenne, Wolmer’s Girls win in ISSA/Securipro TT
VISITORS Immaculate defeated the hosts St Andrew 3-1 in Under-19 and 3-0 in Under-16; hosts Ardenne blanked newcomers St Mary’s College 3-0 in Under-16, and Wolmer’s Girls blanked visitors Ascot 3-0 in Under-16 urban girls’ action of the ISSA/Securipro Table Tennis Competition on Tuesday.
The Wolmer’s versus Ascot Under-16 encounter belongs to Group One and defending champions Campion lead the standings with eight points. They are followed by Hillel on seven points, and both Wolmer’s Girls and Ascot tied on six points each.
Ascot have completed their fixtures, and the other three teams each have two matches left to play.
Immaculate extended their lead atop the Under-19 Group Two standing with this victory. They move up to maximum eight points ahead of Meadowbrook on four points and St Andrew on three points.

Both the Immaculate/St Andrew and the Ardenne/St Mary’s College Under-16 matches belong to Group Two.

The top two finishers from each group will qualify for semi-finals.
Ardenne and Campion are defending girls’ Under-19 and Under-16 champions, respectively.
In individual results in the Immaculate/St Andrew Under-19 encounter, Vanessa Moo Young won two matches for Immaculate. She eased past Stephanie Daley and Kourtney-Ann Cole by similar 3-0 scores; and Chinelle Miller overpowered Daley 3-0, for Immaculate’s third win. Safiya Senior cruised past Jonae Virgo 3-0 to pull one back for St Andrew.
In the Under-16 duel between these same two teams, Duvania Evans, Shantal Hughs and Brittany Hay overwhelmed Lindsay Harvey, Jade Demetrius and Gabriel Wright, respectively, by identical 3-0 scorelines, for Immaculate’s 3-0 victory.
