Prison break in Santa Cruz

ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – Four prisoners, including two on murder charges, escaped from the Santa Cruz police lock-up early Saturday, a reliable source has told OBSERVER ONLINE.

Reports are that some time between 3:00 am and 5:00 am, the prisoners escaped by cutting a passage grille after somehow managing to open the door of their cell.

The other escapees are said to include one charged for robbery and another for housebreaking.
