Slick moves
Robert Walker, director of Alrobe Enterprise.

Slick moves

SINCE its launch five months ago, febi Bilstein has been slowly laying the groundwork to cement itself in the very competitive local automotive lubricants market.

“Our customers like the cost and the fact that it’s a quality German product,” Robert Walker, director of Alrobe Enterprise local dealers, told Auto.

Alrobe Enterprise first came into contact with febi Bilstein due to its core auto service/repair business in Kingston.

Walker said his push is not into the retail market, but into the high-usage commercial areas.

“We service European-made vehicles and were already a BOSCH authorised dealer. Febi filled a gap that BOSCH had ensuring that our clients received 100 per cent products meant for German-made vehicles. We want other shops that service similar European brands to know that we have the service products here at Alrobe,” he said.

And that is the main secret to the febi Bilstein lubricants. Their superior chemical construction is geared towards each vehicle, mainly European brands. The line of engine/hydraulic/gear oils, transmission and brake fluids, including coolants are all manufactured to the meet the OEM specifications.

“These are not universal lubricants, but are synthetically designed for each application,” he added.

For the future, Alrobe plans to expand its distribution network and add a larger selection of lubricants for commercial vehicles.
