COOPERS PEN, Trelawny — Joint second-placed team Coopers Pen and Salt Marsh will meet in the feature game of the Trelawny Football Association’s Monymusk White Overproof Rums Major League at Coopers Pen this afternoon starting at 3:00 pm.

The teams are tied on 11 points, one behind leaders Harmony FC who will face Classic at Bounty Hall.

They had played out a 1-1 draw in the first round meeting and have identical records of three wins and two draws and two losses each, but Coopers Pen boast the better goal difference.

Whichever team wins could be forced to settle for the second spot as Harmony FC are expected to beat Classic United and retain the lead after they had drawn 0-0 in the first meeting.

Harmony FC are on 12 points, while Classic United are on seven, one ahead of last placed Bunkers Hill So Fresh who play Clarks Town at Cedric Titus High.

In the other zone, Wakefield All-stars could assume the lead with a win over Flames FC at Wakefield.

Wakefield All-Stars are in third place on 14 points, two behind leaders Prospect Links who play tomorrow away to Spicy Hill at Georgia playfield, while Flames are lingering near the bottom of the standings on six points from seven games.

Also tomorrow, Invaders SC and Kinloss Fc will meet at Wakefield.
