Montego Bay blank Portmore to stay on top

TUCKER, St James — Montego Bay United (MBU) will stay on top of the Red Stripe Premier League points table after a 2-0 win over Portmore United in their third-round game at the WespoW Park in Tucker, St James yesterday.

Defender John Barrett scored his first Premier League goal in the 58th minute, and the man who replaced him later in the second half Allan Ottey, gave Montego Bay United the win, their third in a row.

Ottey sealed the deal for MBU when he scored as time ran out in the 90th minute.
