Trinidad & Tobago’s ‘Greatest Show On Earth’ may have hung up its revellery and headdresses until 2015, but those on The Rock are still gearing up for our own flavoured interpretation of bacchanal come April. To keep you inspired while you practise your soca moves and organise your costumes for the big day, your Under The Dryer team popped by Racquel Jenkins Moss-Solomon, at her Pinnacle Point command centre to commence the first installment of this seasonal series where the make-up guru creates “very pretty” but dramatic beauty palettes to ‘jump up, jump up’ in and stand out from behind all those feathers, sequins and beading.

Here’s How…

Jenkins Moss-Solomon dots model Nastashia Mitchell’s lids with metallic-toned glitter and drapes them in mink faux lashes; extends the length of the brows and the corners of the eyes with layered winged details; exposes the bones of Mitchell’s face with burnished contours; coats the lips in a bright pop of tangerine; gilds the skin in metallic shadow and bronzing lotion; and finishes with a crystal glitter visual flourish!
