Are Halle and Olivier on the rocks?
They’ve merely been married for eight months, but already cracks are said to be appearing in Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez’s union.
Star magazine reports that the Frenchman, 48, and his 47-year-old wife — who welcomed son Maceo in October — are “leading increasingly separate lives because they can’t stop fighting”.
And Olivier certainly cut a lonesome figure as he dined alone at one of Halle’s favourite haunts last Wednesday night.
The couple haven’t been seen in public together since December 7th at the Pantages theatre, and Halle attended the Oscar festivities alone two weeks ago with her wedding ring noticeably absent from her hand.
A friend told Star: “They have had some extremely vicious arguments, and every small thing is causing issues.”
“Olivier thinks Halle is spending too much time working and trying to lose weight and not enough on their baby, she’s tired of him telling her what to do.”
“Both of them are very hot-tempered and stubborn.”
The attractive couple first met while working opposite one another on the film Dark Tide; they soon emerged as a hot new couple in the autumn of 2010.
The New York Daily News also report that the couple are leading separate lives, and on the verge of splitting. If the pending separation is true, it will mark yet another failed relationship for Berry, who already has a daughter Nahla, five, with Gabriel Aubry.

Vivienne Pitt makes her big screen debut
With her blonde locks and adorable plump cheeks, she couldn’t look more different to the terrifying beauty staring down at her.
This is the first look at Vivienne Pitt in her debut acting role — playing the young Princess Aurora opposite her mother Angelina Jolie in Maleficent.
Dressed in a sweet yellow dress, Vivienne, then four, gazes up at her mother in a forest setting.
Angelina, dressed in her character’s black coat and with horns rising from her head, stares severely down at her daughter.
The Sleeping Beauty reboot promises to tell the untold story of Maleficent, who was simply a nemesis in the original animated 1959 Disney film who put Princess Aurora to sleep.
The highly anticipated film is slated for release on May 30 and co-stars Sharlto Copley and Juno Temple.

Taylor Swift disgusted by Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber reunion
They were once so close that Taylor Swift dubbed Selena Gomez “the closest thing I have to a sister”.
But Taylor has reportedly ditched her best friend following her decision to reunite with bad boy ex Justin Bieber.
Swift disapproves of her Come And Get It pal’s decision to get back together with the troubled Baby hitmaker, following his recent legal troubles and hard-partying reputation.
Sources told Us Magazine that Taylor had begun distancing herself following Selena’s brief relationship with Ed Sheeran last year.
Sheeran is also a close friend of Taylor’s and Swift felt he was used by Selena to make Bieber jealous.
And, the magazine revealed, the news that Selena and Bieber had spent last weekend together was the final straw for Taylor — who is “disgusted” by her former pal’s decision.
The girls were once close friends, bonding over their shared experience as successful young female stars in a male-dominated industry.
Selena said last August: “I think girls need to be more supportive of each other. I definitely agree with that. I’m all about that.
“Taylor has been one of those girls. We have been friends for five years. She is very strong. She doesn’t care what people think and she inspires me.”
The two were seen giggling together at the MTV VMAs last May, and enjoyed a girly sleepover together as recently as December.
