SAMUEL PROSPECT, Trelawny — Prospect Links and Kinloss FC repeated first round wins over Invaders SC and Wakefield All-Stars, respectively, on Saturday to stay at the top in Zone Two of the Trelawny Football Association Monymusk White Overproof Rums Major League.

Ricardo Scott’s third goal of the season in the 44th minute gave Prospect Links a 1-0 win over Invaders SC, the same score as their first-round meeting, as they improved to 20 points at the top of the tables.

Kinloss FC stayed a point behind with a 2-0 victory over Wakefield All-Stars, also the same margin as their first-round game, and leap-frogged the losers into second place on 19 points.

Mark Forrest in the 13th minute and Cory Lyttle in the 80th scored for Kinloss FC as they registered their sixth win of the campaign which extended their unbeaten run to three games.

Spicy Hill FC, last season’s beaten finalists, won for the first time in four games, beating Flames FC 2-0 with goals from Nathaniel Campbell in the 10th and Nicholas Arscott in the 52nd as they beat Flames FC for the second time this season after a 3-1 margin in the first round.

Coopers Pen, who had beaten Clarks Town 3-0 in the first round, were held 1-1 on Saturday, as both teams moved to 12 points, tied with Harmony FC who have a game in hand.

Andre Palmer’s 30th-minute goal gave Coopers Pen the lead, but Dhane Johnson responded in the 43rd minute to earn his team a point.
