THE stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, on Tuesday, March 18.

Jockey Marc Griffiths who rode: King Nebarue in the sixth race on Wednesday, February 26, was suspended for five racedays for the interference caused to Gran Corazon leaving the 400 metre point that resulted in the fall of a horse and the disqualification of King Nebarue. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, March 29.

Jockey Omar Walker who rode Uppa Tune in the first race on Saturday, March 1, was suspended for three racedays for interference caused to Scoop Jordyne approaching the 800-metre point. The suspension will take effect on Sunday, March 30.

Jockey Percival Williams who rode: Bubbling Angeline in the first race on Wednesday March 5 was suspended for three racedays for the intimidation and interference caused to Fortuneonehundred in the vicinity of the 1000-metre point. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, March, 22, and,

* Marshall’s Diva in the fifth race on Wednesday, March 5, was fined $8,000.00 for the intimidation and interference caused to The Great Alliance and Miss Dorothy approaching the 500-metre point.

Jockey Orlando Foster who rode:

* Smart Bidder in the eighth race on Saturday, March, 2014 had his explanation accepted for intimidation and interference caused to The Legacy and Christmas Gift, and the intimidation and interference to Champion Links in the vicinity of the 1100-metre point;

* Hombre in the first race on Wednesday, February 26, had his explanation accepted for the intimidation and interference caused to Runaway Queen shortly after the start; and,

* Tricki Nikki in the second race on Saturday, March 8, had his explanation accepted for the intimidation and interference caused to Moi Lei in the vicinity of the 400-metre point.

Jockey Jemar Jackson who rode: Just Like Emma in the sixth race on Wednesday, February 26, was cautioned for the intimidation caused to Play Station and Baracoda shortly after the start.

Jockey Robert Hallendeen who rode Batidor De Mundo in the fourth race on Wednesday, March 5, was cautioned for the intimidation and interference caused to Elusive Dream in the last 100 metres.

Jockey Kuri Powell who rode: Trial Lawyer in the ninth race on Wednesday, February 26, had his explanation accepted for the interference caused to Hatteras shortly after the start; and,

* Moi Lei in the second (2nd) race on Saturday, March 18, was cautioned for the interference caused to Docontrack and Empress Fluffy shortly after the start.
