She is said to have been desperate to make the front cover of US Vogue, ensuring she schmoozed the editor Anna Wintour at last year’s Met Ball with her fiancé Kanye West. And now Kim Kardashian’s long cherished dream has finally come true.

Kim appears on the cover of the April edition of the fashion bible alongside Kanye.

The reality star wears a white strapless Lanvin wedding gown for the shoot, with her rapper fiancé standing behind her in a dark suit and shirt with his arms wrapped around her waist. Thrilled Kim tweeted that her appearance was a “dream come true” on Friday when the cover was released on the magazine’s website.

“This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can’t even breath!'”(sic) she tweeted.

Kanye simply added on his Twitter page: “Thank you” with a link to the cover on the Vogue website.

For the cover shot, Kim’s hair is pulled into a chic chignon teamed with smoky eye make-up and nude lipstick. Her Lorraine Schwartz-designed, 15-carat diamond engagement ring is her only piece of jewellery.

The magazine’s cover line introduces the piece as: “Kim & Kanye: Their fashionable life and surreal times. #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.” It is apparently the first time a hashtag has been used on the Vogue cover and refers to Kim’s huge social media presence — she has more than 20 million Twitter followers.

‘He was so mean to me!’

She’s posed questions to some of Hollywood’s top celebrities on the red carpet, but Giuliana Rancic says one person stands out as being her most awkward interview — Russell Crowe.

The E! co host has spoken to hundreds, if not thousand of stars, but she did not hesitate to name the 49-year-old Noah actor as her worst experience.

The 39-year-old was appearing on Bravo channel’s Watch What Happens Live, on Wednesday, and she told presenter Andy Cohen: “Russell Crowe was so mean to me. I had been at E! for a year and I thought: ‘I’m going to go easy because he’s pretty tough.’

“And so I said: ‘Are you excited to be here? Your big movie premiere,’ And he goes: ‘I’m contractually obligated to be here. What’s your next question?’

Rancic continued: “And I go: ‘OK, um, isn’t it so wonderful to see all the fans?’ And he goes: ‘That’s your second question?’ And then he goes: ‘One, two, you’re through’ and walked away.'”

However, despite the the awkward encounter, it didn’t put Giuliana off and she must have perfected her technique because she went on to meet her future husband, Bill Rancic, when she interviewed him.

Cowell leaves diaper-duty for the nanny

Simon Cowell has revealed he leaves changing his son’s nappies to the nanny because “I don’t think dads do that”.

The music mogul became a father for the first time with the birth of son, Eric, in February with New Yorker Lauren Silverman.

But talking to Sky News on Thursday,

he admitted he was not embracing every aspect of parenthood. Cowell, 54, said: “I feed Eric, I talk to him and play with him, but I don’t think dads do changing nappies. I’ll leave that up to the nanny.”

During the interview, the TV star also praised Prime Minister David Cameron, describing him as a “decent guy” who “cares passionately about the country”.

Four years ago Cowell described Mr Cameron as “the prime minister Britain needs” on the eve of the general election.

Cowell said: “I like David. I think he’s a decent guy and I like his wife, she is a really nice person. He cares passionately about this country.”

Cowell also insisted he helped Britain with his TV shows including X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent and felt confident the country was on the mend.
