Man’s body found in Franklyn Town house after fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Franklyn Town police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man at Upper Somerset Avenue in the East Kingston community before dawn Tuesday morning.
The dead man has been identified as 41-year-old Michael George Rose otherwise called ‘Bear’.
Police report that residents summoned them to the scene of a fire and after the fire fighters conducted cooling down operations Rose’s charred body was found.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
Investigations are continuing as there are tensions in the area between rival factions, the police say.
