TELECOMMUNICATIONS firm LIME has announced that the following teams have been selected to participate in the Clarendon and Manchester legs of the LIME Street Football Challenge.

The competitions for the teams named will take place on March 29 and 30, respectively, with the first stop being at the Mineral Heights Netball Court in May Pen, and will then move on to the Manchester High School in Mandeville.

The teams will vie for parish championship and a prize of $100,000, which will then see them competing for the overall national championship, as well as the ultimate grand prize of $1 million and an all-expense paid trip to represent Jamaica in the Guinness Regional Street Football Challenge scheduled for June 2014 in Trinidad and Tobago.

CLARENDON TEAMS — Tefflon, Young Blood, Heights United, and Spartan of Chapelton; Gully Spring of Canaan Heights; Team Link of Main Ridge; Young Warriors of Denbigh Krawl; Flames United of Sandy Bay; KWEFAS of Hunts Bay District; New Longville FC of New Longville; FC Alliance, Stubborn Kiddz and Global Strikers of Hunts Pen District; Morgans Pass of Morgans Pass; Precise Strikers of Savannah; and Bazizo United of Heights, Chapelton.

MANCHESTER TEAMS — Knock P FC of Knockpatrick; Los Perfectos Masters, and Caledonia Strikers of DeCarteret Road; Ours United, and Reality United of New Green; Cobbla Stars, and Cobbla Strikers of Cobbla; Richmond United of Richmond; Cash FC, and Gold Rush of Mike Town; Ultimate, and Red Army of Greenvale; Mount Prospect All Stars of Mount Prospect; Prospect Football Team of Prospect; Red Devils of Valley; and Rumble of Red Berry.
