Edwin Allen’s Denae McFarlane, who came into the meet as the leader in the Class Four long jump, failed to advance past yesterday’s first round, managing only 4.39m and it will be up to her teammate Lotavia Brown to ensure points for the defending champions.
Brown jumped 5.09m yesterday, second to Hydel High’s Ashanti Moore’s 5.10m, while her teammate Shade Parr was third after the preliminaries with 5.06m.
