GraceKennedy recalls batch of Chicken Vienna Sausages
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Grace Foods on Thursday, June 12 issued an advisory reminding that a batch of its Grace Chicken Vienna Sausages has been recalled.
The advisory, which appeared in the press, said that the recall, initiated on May 27, affects only the Grace Chicken Vienna Sausages with lot number 14041510G CH 26.
Grace Foods, a division of GraceKennedy, is asking consumers who purchased the product to check for the lot number which is stamped in black on the bottom of the can. Should people be in possession of the product with the specified batch number, the company is advising that it be returned to the point of purchase, where full cost will be refunded.
“GraceKennedy wishes to assure all consumers that their safety is paramount, and that this recall does not affect any other Grace Vienna Sausage products,” the advisory said.
