Switzerland beat Honduras 3-0
MANAUS, June 25, 2014 (AFP) – Xherdan Shaqiri scored a brilliant hat-trick as Switzerland bounced back from their mauling by France to defeat Honduras 3-0 and book their place in the World Cup second round on Wednesday.
The Bayern Munich winger Shaqiri turned in an electrifying performance in Manaus’s Amazonia Arena as the Swiss set up a last 16 meeting against Argentina in Sao Paulo on Tuesday.
