Troydon Bent ‘looking’ for success
Reggae singer Troydon Bent is promoting his latest album, Looking From the Inside Out.
The 11-track set, a mixture of lovers rock and social commentary, was released in May on his Gidians Records Production label.
Bent told the Jamaica Observer that he records to reach the soul.
“To me, music is very influential and has a very unique role to mankind and I always have a passion for the love of humanity,” he said. “So, part of my goal growing up is to share love through my music and to help others like myself to be more positive.”
Looking from the Inside Out includes the songs My Love, Free From Bondage, World Love, and Moving Forward.
The St Ann-based Bent says plans are in the making for promotional dates in the United Kingdom.
He has three previous albums: D#1, released in 2009, Jamaica (2011) and The Voice (2012).
