Police going after men plaguing New Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Police are now on an operation in New Kingston in search of several men believed to be responsible for a string of serious crimes committed recently in the busy commercial district.
Police say that during the search which began at 10:00am they went to the Shoemaker Gully in the area where a number of the men said to be homosexuals are known to frequent.
According to the cops they came under attack during the search as the men hurled bottles and other items at them.
The men over an extended period have taken refuge in the New Kingston gully which serves as their place of abode.
