Fambo scores with new single

Catch Di Riddim

DEEJAY Future Fambo (given name Warren Williams) has a winner on his hands with the single Never Live Your Life a Lie. The track, produced by Robert Pryce-Stoney for Jahhstone Productionz, is probably Fambo’s best showing in many moons. A mid-tempo treat, the song comprises positive lyrics and a catchy hook.

Pryce-Stoney is optimistic that the song has the ingredients to become a hit.

“I met Fambo through a producer and engineer, Reblah Star. We were in Brooklyn at Young Lion Studio listening to a few beats on a playlist when Fambo heard my riddim and instantly found a hook for it,” the New Jersey-based producer told Splash.

Formerly Future Troubles, Fambo (now in his early 40s) began his career in the early 1990s. He scored with hits including China Mi Live and the chart-topper Kung Fu.

In recent years, Fambo has emerged with a new image and a slew of positive songs and party anthems.

Drunken Dance, Rum and Red Bull (with Beenie Man) and This Life have connected Fambo to a new generation of music lovers and rocked the airwaves.
