TWP Attorneys launches ‘Lunch and Learn’ initiative to strengthen development within the legal profession
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Local law practice TWP Attorneys-at-Law has launched its inaugural “Lunch and Learn” Initiative, a professional development programme designed to foster mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful engagement between senior and junior attorneys.
In a statement, TWP indicated that the initiative was developed in response to the growing need for structured mentorship opportunities within the legal profession.
Drawing on observations from local practice and successful models in other jurisdictions, the programme provides a platform for experienced attorneys to share practical insights, career guidance, and professional experiences with the next generation of legal practitioners.
Beyond legal training, the sessions will also expose participants to the business aspects of legal practice, including law firm management, client relations, business development, and financial sustainability.
While the programme will support the continued development of attorneys within the firm, TWP Attorneys says it remains committed to contributing to the growth of the wider legal community. Through ongoing “Lunch and Learn” sessions and mentorship opportunities, the firm aims to strengthen professional connections, encourage excellence, and help cultivate a more resilient and sustainable legal profession in Jamaica.
“The legal profession thrives when knowledge and experience are intentionally shared. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting emerging attorneys and investing in the future of the profession,” the firm noted.
