Paving the way for youth
The Honourable Lisa Hanna, Minister of Youth and Culture and Jason McNeish, Youth and Digital Media Officer, JNBS, lead students in the Half-Way-Tree Transport Centre to the launch of National Youth Month, after being entertained by a flash mob.
In celebration of youth month, which runs from November 1 to 30, the National Youth Centre for Development will host a series of activities, such as “Pon Di Corner”, in St Thomas and Portmore; a Sports Challenge at Treasure Beach and the National Youth Conference at the Jamaica Conference Centre.
Jamaica National, through its youth arm, JN WAY, is the official financial partner for the National Centre for Youth Development activities during the month.
