Taximan shot and injured in Kingston

KINGSTON, Jamaica — A taxi man was reportedly shot and injured by unknown assailants along Glenmore Road in Kingston this afternoon.

Reports are that shortly after 1:00 pm the man, said to be of a Red Hills in St Andrew, was shot while waiting to pick up children from school. A motive for the shooting was not confirmed.

The injured man was taken to hospital for treatment.
